installer 3.0
i jailbroke my iphone 3g 3.0 via redsn0w and it only downloaded cydia to my phone and i was wondering where installer went because with 2.2.1 i had installer along with cydia. is there a way to get installer through cydia?

So what was the last thing you used Installer for & when?

well im trying to download icy too and heard u can only download it from installer and not cydia.

And WHY would you want to use Installer? Rip-Dev gave up on it.

Yeah, I know I did a couple of weeks ago, but Icy is nowhere to be found in the ripdev repo.

Installer is no more. Its now Icy, but Cydia is much better and has many more developers hosting packages...

Install the ripdev repo and then icy

07-24-2009, 08:55 PM #9I've just checked 4 times. Even rebooted iphone inbetween. Icy is not in the ripdev repo right now for some reason.
