You can do anything in iTunes except restore and/or upgrade. Then you would have to start over.

apps in itunes with ulocked/jailbraked iphone
Hi,
thanks a lot for the reply, I tried to install a few apps from iTunes (free ones that I downloaded previously like skype or facebook) but seems that I can sync it. Or at least I can't see it on my phone. Any ideas?
Thanks again

Your gonna have to give more information than that. If theres a problem itunes should give you an error message.

when I try to sync the apps, I ticked the apps that I want to install and push the 'apply' button, everything seems ok but then I don't have the apps in my phone...
thanks again!

The only time ive ever seen that is when your trying to install cracked apps, which Im assuming your not doing cause discussion of it isnt allowed here.
Otherwise, if it wont sync I would trying restoring the phone and starting fresh. Which also means your gonna have to rejailbreak and unlock again.

You bought the iPhone second hand?
The previous owner may have hidden the icons for those apps using bossprefs?
Try installing something no one would ever download, like a free knitting app, and see if it shows up on the phone. Other thatn that find a wifi network and see if it works downloading them from the phone itself.

Go into settings/Store make sure account info is correct (email/password).
Be certain you are also logged on to iTunes with your account.
Sync in iTunes and then try to re-install them.
