Email file attachments ?

Is it possible to recieve .rar file attachments using the iPhones email app (I don't need to open them) and then forward that .rar attachmnet via the iphone email app to someone else ?

Yes. Couldn't you have just tried it yourself???

Well I emailed a .rar file (to myself) and recieved it on the iPhone. The iPhone gives the option to download the file, but once that's done, all I see is a small box with a question mark.

If the iPhone downloaded the file, where is it ?

Secondly, could someone please give me the directory location for where the iPhone puts email downloads ( I may be able to find it using the iFile app).
