3gs Battery Life
Is it just me or is 3GS's battery very very short?
I find myself charging my iPhone everyday and when i look @ my battery percentage, it goes down so fast after charging...
and I don't even use it that often... i only do occasional browsing / instant messaging and my battery percentage seems to go down very fast.
For example, I would bring my fully charge iPhone out @ 11am..and at 2:30pm, my battery percentage would be at around 70%...and less than 50% after 6pm.
I'm wondering if it is like this for all of you, or is my battery defective? I realize iPhone doesn't offer great battery life, but the short battery life doesnt even last me a full day if i choose to, let's say clubbing and come home around 3~4am... my phone would usually be dead by then.

The 3.1 update coming out next week is suppose to take care of a lot of the 3GS's battery issues.

If your phone is hactivated make sure you have Push turned off.
I think 3.1 will cause a lot more issues than it solves....He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

Most battery life issues are caused by either:
a) trying to use Push on a hactivated phone or
b) Restoring a backup made in FW2.xx on FW 3.0
My battery life is noticeably better on FW3.0 than it was on 2.20
FW3.1 is unlikely to be unlockable any time soon and, on the 3GS, without the signed iBEC and iBSS you might not even be able to use a custom FW using 3.0 BB so might not even be an option for some people. He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
