Did you buy a Squaretrade warranty for your iphone?
I'm considering buying one. I paid $399 for my 16gb 3gs cuz i got the early upgrade. and the squaretrade warranty covers up to $399
It's $96 tho. I'd be paying a quarter of the price of my phone, and then if i drop it, i'd have to pay $50 deductible
is it worth it?

So, you'd pay $149 for a $399 phone? Don't you have household contents insurance?

It's all about State Farm. Take out an individual articles policy on your iPhone separate from your homeowners insurance. This is what I did and here are all the positives:
1. $50 for the year
2. No deductible whatsoever
3. Protects against EVERYTHING
*waterdamage,accidental damage, theft...acts of god..etc
4. I purchased my iPhone 3GS for $499 in June and showed them via an apple.com webpage I printed out, that it would cost me $699 to replace it and now my iPhone 3GS insured for $699.
I would recommend this to anyone who can get it. Can't be beat!
