Help ipone has Grey/White lines across screen
Hello,
ive recently noticed some white/grey lines appear on y screen
i have the iphone in a protective rubber case thing , so i have no idea how or why it has happend, please look at the pics below , if anyone can help or advise would be a great help

i iphone is a pay as you go on o2, unlocked iphone on 02payg, i think its usa too
1 line appears to be slowly growing, can anyone please advise im desperate here, are there any compnays that wpould repair it in the uk?

hi, its o2 pay as you go, but it was unlocked as it was before the pay as you go iphones were out
? i think its a usa model too and i live in the uk and would be out of warrenty?

It looks like you have a faulty LCD and its bleeding. It will only spread and get worse.
If its a 3G its not hard to replace yourself, im from the UK and if your uncomfortable with it i would do it for you for free.
If its a 2G its a completely different story....
Sorry, after reading the other grey line post and lookin at your pictures again it might not be bleeding as such.

its a 2g and serial first digits are 7V742JB ?
one line keeps getting a little longer each day, im from the uk cornwall, i bought it unlocked on pay as u go 02 when it 1st came out

You will need to try and take it to an Apple store and see what they can do.
Your probably looking at upgrading to a 3G or 3GS im afraid as the phones out of warranty and fixing the 2G LCD involves replacing the whole front panel i believe which costs about as much as the phones worth.

hi all, 1 line has now gone right acros the screen

also i had the iphone out in sunlight with it locked and even when nothing was on the screen itself i could see a dark line very faint where the fault is on the screen when its lit up too?
ipaq repair are they any good and trustworthy?
