Hi I want to buy a iphone for my son do you think 8Gb would be big enough or should I get 16gb, also how much faster is the s series.

Depends on how much money you have and how much music he has. 8GB can hold up to like 2000 i think it is? So if he is going to have more than that, you gotta go with the 16gb or even the 32. Actually I just checked Apple.com, and the 3g is now only sold for $99 in 8GB. They might be the refurbs, I'm not sure. The 3GS goes from $199 (16GB) to $299 (32GB), so if you have enough money to pay for those. I would recommend the 3GS 16GB

I dont have music on my iphone but i have apps, games and other stuff and it used up to 12GB. I prefer 16GB. 8GB is too little to me.

I have like 6 ringtones, 42 games + apps + videos from my cycorder + pictures and themes.
I used up like 12gb of memory. I think i need to upgrade mines to 3GS for more memory.

3GS is faster than 3G.
I will suggest a 16G will be good enough!!
