Contact list not showing on OS 3 but on OS 2.2

Hi guys, i had recently upgraded my iphone 2g from OS 2.2 to OS 3. I had manually extracted the addressbook sqlite file using ssh. But when i copied them after upgrading to OS 3, my phone doesn't shows any name at all.. my calender also has the same problem. Hope to get some help as ALL my contacts are in there.. cheers
