hey everyone, so i've had my 3g 3.0 for a while now and finally decided to jailbreak it, which I did by way of http://www.modmyi.com/forums/iphone-...0-redsn0w.html

the first thing I did was dl & install winterboard followed by the MultiBarLockScreen MacThemes Forum / [Theme] MultiBarLockscreen v1.6.6 + 2.0 Public Beta 6

now, the problem that I'm having is that the MultiBarLockScreen requires me to edit a /private/settings.js file How do I access & edit this file?

You would need to install OpenSSH through Cydia and SSH to access the files on the iPhone.

"/private" refers to the location of "settings.js"

k i got openSSH and WinSCP installed. but now I can't find the settings.js file in the /private folder

also i tried to change the password using PuTTY but i get an error saying putty.exe was not found??

OpenSSH should be under the "Networking" section and the contact information should say "Jay Freeman (saurik)".

yeah I found the right openSSH but just can't find the settings.js file. it appears that there aren't any files in the private folder
