I just received a new iphone from Apple, how do I check the firmware? I tried the *#307# method but it's not working.
Go to settings > general > about - scroll down till you see Firmware
That would work if my phone was activated. It's completely locked.
It doesn't matter what firmware. Download ziphone from www.ziphone.org or iLiberty from the home page thread. One click and the program will unlock/jailbreak/activate your phone.
