Installing Apps and then deleting them can it slow down ur phone over time

I always wondered about this, when installing a app in iTunes it takes a while to install, but when you delete it it's by simply 1 click.

When deleting a app is everything deleted and cleaned up frm the phone immediately ? Or does crap get left behind as it would on a pc, causing things to get sluggish over time. Installing and deleting.

for apps installed from cydia..which are in /application.will b deleted..but there setting dont get deleted...and same goes to itune install apps..its setting..r still in /mobile/Documents/ even after uninstall..just check them.!..btw idun know abt the program folder of itune install apps..
