Can I hide the alarm on icon on the taskbar?
Currently, I'm showing date, time, available memory and battary % on the taskbar.
The problem is that when in portrait mode, due to space shortage, the battery % is omitted. It only shows it in landscape mode. Therefore, I'm forced to rename my service provider's name to just one character (I call it "I") in order to display the battery % again.
I notice however, that if the alarm indicator (which comes on when there is at least one alarm item in the clock application) goes off, then the % appears without having to rename the operator's name.
So, that brings me to the question: Is it possible to hide this alarm indicator even though I have active alarm items?

Yes, all you need to do is SSH in there and replace "Default_AlarmClock.png" and "FSO_AlarmClock.png" with a picture that is transparent and 1 pixel wide by 20 pixels in height. I just did it to my iPhone and it worked.
The files are located in: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
Final Note: I uploaded 3 pngs. The 2 default ones that are decoded so that you can edit them and a transparent one that you can use to replace them in your device. Just be sure to name them exactly as I typed above since it is case sensitive (obviously without the quotes).
