Upgrading to 3.0 on 3G iPhone

So what is the consensus here? I can't find a clear answer....

My iPhone is currently JB/UN on 2.2...is it safe to upgrade to 3.0 yet or wait?

Has the battery life been solved by disabling push and what not? Same with the overheating?

What am I looking at here?

My iPhone 3G was Jailbroken with QuickPwn on 2.2.1, i then upgraded to 3.0 when it was released and had no problems. Then i jailbroke with redsn0w on Windows, and it went successfully. I havent had any of the push notification problems or wifi problems as yet. Everything is going normally for me!

It's all good! The sworn enemies are now one giant defunct company... but I still like what they have to offer.

I liked XM so much, I used to sell their products.... and was a moderator for a fan site.
