Accessing WIFI @ Hotspots in Starbucks

I heard of the New hotspot feature that the 3.0 has and that once you go and log onto AT&T wifi at starbucks it will remember next time you go back. But everytime I select AT&T wifi and go to safari it's turns my screens blackish and says connecting and that's all it does it just sits there. Doesn't ask me to enter any information or nothing just a constant connecting so I just shut off wifi an use my 3G. Is anyone having the same problem. I restored my phone numerious times and jailbroke with redsn0w and still it does it. And don't get me wrong I didn't restore my phone because of this either so no flaming lol.
