[Speed Test] iPhone 3GS VS iPhone 3G VS iTouch

Hey guys ran some speed tests on my 3 devices using the Speed Test app from the AppStore. The test was done via a WiFi connection

Why would you speed test with WiFi? Kinda pointless. I have 50/20 at my house and I am sure I can have a 2G iphone blow away any other phone on WiFi

Not really pointless if you look at the results. The 3GS has more consistent and higher speeds than the other 2.

Not too surprising. Faster processor and more RAM can process downloads faster so in turn utilize more of your bandwidth available. Look at the upload. All devices are pretty similar since they haven't peaked the processor yet.
