how can i use iPhone while syncing?

i did it earlier today by accident...no idea how i did it...but its really convinient...if anyone knows how to do it can you please let me know? THANKS!!!

You can't sync through iTunes and use the phone at the same time. It must of glitched on you.

Yeah. I've done it before, too. Once on my 2nd or 3rd 3G. I could use the phone like normal, and I could see the apps appearing on the screen as they transferred. The only thing I couldn't do was use the iPod. When I tried to use it to see if the songs were popping up, it stopped the sync. When I synced again, I couldn't use the phone until it finished.

for those with the jailbreak, you can install bitesms, and use the quickcompose on lock screen, hit open (which should open your bitesms app) but it unlocks your phone for you, just close the app and play . This will allow you to do this. If there's a better method, please mail me asap

You can use the phone if someone calls you. It will just pause the sync.

the funniest thing is when you sync and an alarm goes off. you can't stop the goddamn alarm because the slider says "cancel sync" ><
