what is a gateway timeout in cydia?

Hi all,

There's a few apps I'd like on cydia and each time I try to install I get:

BigBoss Cydia Repository | iPhone News, Help and Guides
HTTP/1.1 504 Gateway Time-out

could anyone enlighten me as to how to fix this?
