Why don't you use Windows Contacts - I see your running Windows.

Every time you restore it automatically syncs your contacts so no more typing them in!

Using Windows contacts won't help him. And it's a crappy solution anyway. Use Yahoo or Gmail to back up your contacts in future

Yes, cos syncing to WAB and backing up is a lot easier than syncing to Gmail. Use some common sense, kid.

And OP, use this to view the file - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5817

Plus kid, you can't sync Notes and Tasks with Gmail.

YOU GUYS! answer the man's question!

I don't have a solution for you bud, other than downgrade to 2.x, put the contacts back, backup with itunes and then restore back to 3.0

Notes or tasks? Try keep on topic, kid. He's asking about frigging contacts!

So you sync with Exchange Server, huh? I hope you're used the sniggers from your superiors who use BB or WinMo

I gave a perfectly adequate solution a few posts up. Sorry if it went over your head. Let me know and I'll explain it in simpler terms

Please do. I see no solution in any of your posts. You describe how to save his contacts in THE FUTURE, but there's no solution to his current predicament
