pictures i take with iphone won't show up in camera library

Hi guys,
I have an iphone 3G on 3.0 firmware and when I take pictures either using the phone's native applications or snapture the photos wouldn't show up in camera library. Any idea?

Do a reset all settings and see if that fixes it.

I'm having the same problems with my 2g Iphone. When I open the camera app, it takes the picture/snapshot, shows me the thumbnail, telling me the picture was taken.

When I touch the thumbnail to take me to PHOTOS.... shows me NO PHOTOS in CAMERA ROLL.. did the reset as suggested for 3G iPhone, but no luck. Any other suggestions? My other synched photos are in the LIBRARY courtesy of Itunes/Iphoto.

^Did you restore as new or from backup?

I'd say you should restore as a new phone, but if you don't want to do that SSH in and find the 'MobileSlideShow.app' and fix its permissions to 0777, then try to take another picture and see if it worked.

i have changed the permission to 0777, but, unfortunately nothing happened. still not able to see the pics in camera roll even when I take the pictures the small thumbnail shows up in the lower left corner of the screen.
any other idea?

Change the permissions on "Camera.app" then to 0777 and see if it works...

And make sure you're changing all your permissions in the right place.

Thanks all. Problem sorted out by doing a firmware restore using itunes.

I have exactly the same problem. The pictures I take do not show up in the photo library - only a small thumbnail is shown in the bottom left. Does anybody please have any suggestions apart from restoring the iphone.

I'm having the same problem as of this morning. I don't want to do a restore as I have a looooot of custom settings from being jail broken that I just don't wont to restore right now.

Any other suggestions?
