MMS on ATT July 15th!
I called in to ATT today to attempt one last time to get MMS activated on my account giving the usual "I'm an iphone developer and I need mms on my account for testing" bs. Surprisingly the lady came back and told me that the update would be pushed July 15 and that I should just connect my phone to iTunes to receive the update. Could this possibly mean 3.1? Or even just a carrier update is good news. Thats way earlier than "late summer." What do you guys think?

Yea I can't offer any proof and customer service reps are often wrong but we can always hope right?

I just read where someone that downloaded the 3.1 beta said the camera icon in messages appears but mms won't send. It all makes your comment sound like a winner

See, thats plenty helpful unless you're like me and have no other AT&T phone with a different text plan on it. I'm also on a business plan and I can't switch my texting plan. I'm just happy there's the possibility that it comes on the 15th.
