Iphone 3g storage problem
I recently got a 3g from my friend. restored it to 3.0 so I could jailbreak using redsn0w. i jailbroke it fine, but the phone is a 16gb and i got 6 apps on it, with only like 35 photos and no music right now. but i only got 6.03 gigs free. i know the stuff i have on it is only like 400-500 megs. it says there is 8gb worth of "other" stuff on the phone. how do i get rid of this "other" stuff and get the most storage back on my phone. anyone got any suggestions or can point me into the right direction. i tried searching storage but it was too common. thanks.

Simply restore from iTunes and then rejailbreak it. Restoring from iTunes (Just Clicking the Restore button) will remove all extra space used and do a fresh firmware installation. After that simply jailbreak it and you are good to go.
iPhone 4
Firmware : iOS4
Carrier : Softbank (Japan)
Jailbroken using Jailbreakme
