I was wondering if it would be possible to install the 3.0 f/w from a 3gs on a regular 2g iphone. has anyone tried this, b/c i saw pics on AIS of a 3gs, and i know that because they showed the white on black accessibilty feature only present on the 3gs, but this iphone had a custom carrier, and battery percentage mod.

The phone wouldnt except the firmware and run properly because the hardware is different. It would be like loading the wrong drivers on your computer.
