edge share over wifi

Hi, i have read out there many time of people "tethering" or sharing their edge connection over wifi... i was wondering if any one could give me direction on how i would go about doing this...

im running leopard 10.5.2
iphone is in 1.1.3 via ziphone 2.3
at&t carrier

um...not exactly... I tried that and it didnt work... it said my permission was denied to the file in the tether kit and would not let me open it in terminal... if you have a solution to get this to work or and alternative that would be great... thank you
