Is it possible... Combine 2 SMS.db files?

Does anyone know how to combine 2 SMS.db together????
Lets say I use a 2G iPhone and send some SMS on it. Then I go to a 3G iPhone and send some text on it. I SSH into the iPhone, take the SMS.db files, now I would like to know if I can combine them and bring one SMS.db up to date?
May sound stupid to even do... lol

Never tried messing with them, but if you can open them into a txt format....maybe you can copy/paste?? Dunno.

That is an idea, but how would I make it back into a .db file? Just rename lol

Naw, I would cut the stuff out of one file and paste it into the other file.

Saying its possible that is.
