I'm already returning my 3GS due to battery!!!!

I have had my new 3GS for about one week now and the battery has been DREADFUL!!!

I gave my old 3G to my wife and I have checked her battery and compared to mine and 3GS is brutal. I am hoping I received a crap battery.

Off the charger at 0800hrs and by 1300hrs I have had to charge mine. Off the charger at 1430hrs and it is now 1900hrs and it is back on the charger. I checked my wife's phone and it is still showing near a full charge!!! Her usage stats over the past week have killed mine!!

My replacement 3GS should be here Wednesday and hopefully that fixes the problems. I am in Canada and say what you want about Rogers, but they are awesome when it comes to the iPhone and sending replacement phones if you have any problems. We do however spend a lot of cash with Rogers (6 cell phones, TV, home phone and internet), so maybe we get a bit better treatment...I dont know.

I have for various reasons replaced iPhones 4 times now. Once was just before release of the 3GS. I thought I would be selling my 3G on eBay, so I wanted one that was NEW. Called Rogers and said there were some cracks (which there were not, but looked like there could be) and they sent out no problem.

I hope my new battery is better because having to charge twice in a day (Sunday of all days where I do next to no work on it like weekdays with emails, etc), sucks.

Anyone else have serious battery issues with the 3GS? I know battery life has always been a sore point with any generation iPhone, but this is seriously bad.

Well, hopefully the next will be better. Ive had my 3GS for a week now and the battery lasts all day long no problem....well, like the 3G...obviously heavy usage will drain it.

My battery on my 3GS is perfect. It lasts a day and a half with heavy usage.
