Iphone 3.0 tethering data usage not recorded

I have noticed that the data usage counter doesn't increase when I am using tethering the data to my laptop. I have been using tether for the last hour now and the data counter remained the same.

This is my setup:
Iphone 3G on jailbroke 3.0 OS
Tethering over USB
Running Windows Vista
Fido network (in Canada)

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? This is a pretty big bug if the data counter doesn't keep track of tethering data usage!

yeah i called Fido and checked...apparently they theres no way of calculating tethering data....

someone really needs to make an app for that..
