3GS jailbreak 2 hours away.....for me?

Someone local is advertising that he can jailbreak and unlock the 3GS. I've emailed him and wants to meet me in a few hours to do it and charge me $40. I asked him how he can do it when no one else can, i got no answer back.

Should i go meet this guy? Im sure there are people that know how to do this and get money out of people before the freebee comes out.

The fact that he hasnt replied to your email back seems fishy.. I'd stay away. Seems nothing more then a setup to get himself a 3GS

Been over 3 hours lol. But I guess it takes extra time to get fixed up at the hospital. Waiting for the free is the best bet to go. Never meet strange people that say they can do something for money when you can get it free. Wow, well that sentence sounds like a hooker.

wow, didnt think this thread would turn out like this Anyways, he texted me back 20 mins before i go to meet him and tells me this:

"Thank you for your attention.
All jailbreaking and unlocking process are done by myself, I can try to jailbreak and unlock the 3GS, but I am not 100% guarenteed that to be successful.
