Default Iphone 3GS White or Black?

So for this past week I've been doing as much research as possible. I'm upgrading my Black 3G to a new 32gb GS. The problem is i've heard many different opinions on the matter. I wanted something new and fresh so orignally i had decided to go with a white one. But i read that the white 3G phones got pressure cracks? I'm also very concerned with staining and dirt. I'd like to know if this can actually turn into a problem. I try to keep my phones as clean as possible always cleaning it and using a case. I'd just like to know other people's opinions.

I was back and forth on the same thing. I thought white may get dirtier quicker. But I still went with white because the resale may be higher if I want to upgrade later; or it may be the same as the black ones. I am not fully sure why I really went with white. Maybe because my previous ones were black and I wanted different lol.

I laughed at many of the comments in that article. But maybe we will see in the next couple days if anyone other than this one steps forward. Thanks for pointing that out DaveLaSoul, I knew the old white ones had some issues with cracking.

omg. I wish i had seen this earlier. I just confirmed it up with my rogers guy. I got the white 32gb.

I was concerned about the cracks from the 3g but i was hoping with the 3gs they'd have made improvements on the casing. But considering that article.... I'm worried.

I have a white 3g, so I decided to get a black 3GS, now I'm wishing I went with white, because the black shows fingerprints and scratches really bad.

yo if its not white its not right....i have the iphone 3g 16gig white, and for about four months i was rocking that ish naked (no case) and i got that thing so scuffed up it was sad. but the good news is that i bought my phone at bestbuy and pay $15.00 a month for insurance on my phone so i cracked my screen on purpose took it to bestbuy they replaced it with a new one and ever since then i have been rocking a speck candyshell lemondrop and my phone is mint condition... buy a white one at best buy, get insurance and your set.

Interesting, I was just about to pick up an invisible shield yesterday from Best Buy, but thought Id save money and just order online. I went with white just to be different. Hope my decision doesn't bite me in the ***

You could have the metal housing of the 3G if you don't want any 3G reception....
