Hey.

I have recently purchased an iPhone 3G, but it has no SIM. As I use an LG VX9400 with verizon, I would like to connect my Jailbroken iPhone 3G to my phone, and use it as a "bluetooth headset"

Basically, the iphone will be used as the ears and voice of my LG phone.

Is there anyway to do this through bluetooth?

Jailbroken apps are an option.

I'd like to know to, if anyone has the answer to that. I used to be able to do that with my Samsung P2 mp3 player with bluetooth, and wanted to do that with my iPhone too, since it doesn't have a sim card.

I have been looking around with Google the past couple of days for more information on this without any luck. This is the only place I have even found anyone else that speaks of this idea.
I think either the iPhone's bluetooth stack would have to be modified to support the A2DP profile in the other direction, or an application would have to be written to support this.
My idea for the use of this would be able to lay in my bed while I watch a movie across the room on my PC. Then I would be able to take advantage of the expensive earbud earphones that I have for my iPhone and also I could use x remote control app to control the movie. If someone were to write an app that would do this, I would easily pay $10 for it. Anyone here have anymore input on the subject?
