Want to buy 3Gs
Hi all
I live in Egypt and we don't have the iPhone 3Gs yet, however a friend of mine is going in a business trip to Germany & I want him to buy an iPhone 3G S for me, so I was wondering if it will be necessary to get one with a carrier plan or is it available without a plan? are there any backdoors to overcome this carrier plan problem if it's there ???
One more thing, are there any unlocks available for it yet or not ?

no unlock yet because no jailbreak is out yet

From France and Belgium a factory unlocked handset is only a tiny bit more epxensive. I would recommend doing that, then you dont have to worry about any unlocking
