Music and Ringtone syncing issue after 3.0 update
|
Hello,
I have recently updated to OS 3.0. I jailbroke my 8gb iPhone 3g using quickpwn, and the simple install method.
After updating, my apps sync fine but my music and ringtones sync as "other". Showing up orange in iTunes. I have done a lot of searching and have only briefly found a post somewhere that suggested it was a corrupt iTunes library. I attempted their suggestion of SSH'ing into my phone and manually deleting the synced files from /var/mobile/media. I resynced after this and had the same result. I then started from scratch downloading all new files (original 3.0 ispw, quickpwn) and re-restored the phone, and still the same result.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be? Or a suggestion of where it sounds like I could start to find a solution? Thanks in advance for your time.
