This did not happen when i had the older itunes (8.0.2), but i had to install itunes 8.2 to upgrade my firmware to 3.0, but it didn't happen when i installed the new one at first. So i've always manually add music to my iphone, added a few albums with no problems.
Now when i add the music, after it transfers the files and gets to the stage of the dreaded "determining gapless payback information" it would freeze. iTunes will be unresponsive, but i know that it's freezing at this stage of the transfer because if i wait long enough, itunes will regain activity for a second, just enough to show me that it says "determining... ", then my iphone would say it's syncing for a short bit as well, then itunes freezes again. It's almost like the determining gapless info part is now literally taking a million times longer.
Anyone have any ideas? (iTunes is rubbish)
