Put sim in when ?
Ok I think i have all the files to jailbreak my 2g iphone 3.0.I have redsnow 7.2, 3.0 backup restore file, bin 39,bin 46 to be done with Vista. My question is when do i put my T Mobile sim in the phone?

when you start the process, once you start the 3.0 in iTunes

Yes, put you SIM card into the phone right before you do everything.

Yes, but there are 2 schools of thought on this, some same after update to 3.0, But I can tell you from helping many people and my own experiance, start with it in.
