I have an 8gb jailbroken unlocked 3.0 iphone. I want to make a ringtone and i know there is a 30 second limit but is there any way to make it longer than 30 seconds. Atleast 40 to 45? I use Itunes to do this

there really isnt a limit... you can just drag and drop the made ringtone through SSH

The ringtone will only play as long as the phone rings (ie. until voicemail picks up) Don't think you will get much more than 30 seconds of play time no matter how long the ringtone is.

Yeah I set mine to 30 seconds and they never finish completely.

go to audiko.net to download ringtones for the iphone, u just press download for iPhone and it goes str8 to ur iTunes ringtones category and u sync them onto ur phone.

iRinger is a free little app that will make ringtones for you easily with your songs and auto place them into the itunes ringtones section too.

how do you have 3.0 and continue to make ringtones with itunes ?? I havent updated my itunes in forever because i thought apple stopped people from making them.
