3.0 Jailbroke/unlocked Cydia Error

Hi all,

I have succesfully jailbroken/unlocked my 2g 3.0 iPhone, but I have an error with Cydia uprgade. When I try to uprgade my "essentials" in Cydia I get an error message that reads, "Couldn't configure pre-depend dpkg for sed, probably a dependency cycle." If anyone has seen this message and knows how to correct the error I would appreciate some help.

Thank you.

Solution

Easy fix to this problem for me was to re JB my phone and leave install ICY UN CHECKED and proceed with the JB. theres no need to wipe your phone. Hope this helps.

well Even better, I re-jailbroke it with icy option not even there (2nd time) and they both worked (cydia and icy).
