hi evry1, while surfing the net i found a website that claims that it sells a turbosim that unlocks iPhone 3GS running firmware 3.0 without loss of functionality and that it is very stable and has been tested on various phones running different carriers

I am no Electronic Engineer...but that looks like a bunch of crap . Reminds me of those old "boost cell phone signal" items, which looked like a flat piece of plastic that you put behind you battery on old cell phones.

i used to have one on the 3g, it worked perfect! it tricks the hardware so most updates will not break it.

well they hunt the gullible, but the sim chip thing works, its hardware.

it works by tricking the iphone into accepting the new sim. These have been around for ever.
