iphone 3gs in the uk!!

hey viewers i just wanted to ask some questions to the people who have brought the iphone 3gs in the uk, so if your one of them i would like to ask some questions on buying the iphone in a apple store.

did you have to activate your iphone at the apple shop because i wana jailbreak it when the jb comes out so i wanted to if i can activate it at home or the shop?

i wana know if you buy the iphone 3gs as a pay as you go (so £444.00) do i have to activate it at the store or can i do it at home?

Well i got mine from the O2 shop and they didn't activate it for me, dont see what difference it makes really, you can still jailbreak whether it gets activated by them or by you (when it gets to that point of course).

Just be aware that on top of the £440 i had to pay an additional £10 to top-up the PAYG sim card, this may also be the case at the Apple store, idk.

It makes no difference at all whether they activate in store or activate at home regards jailbreaking.

I don't think they are worth £400+...you can get the original 3g in the usa for $99 right now. Complete joke.

Yeah with a nice lengthy contract with AT&T i'll bet.

Even O2 are doing it for free on contract here.
