PLZ help me

I want to jailbreak my iphone 3G, but i have a little dillema. My mother seems to not care about jailbreaking but my dad (who doesnt even know how to use a computer correctly) was looking at MMI and a jailbreaking youtube video i was watching a while back, and some dumbass at his work told him that jailbreaking was modifying internal system files. Somehow, he also found out that it voids the warranty. He doesnt want me to jailbreak so much that he asked me if I was going to jailbreak my iphone at my friends house. Please help me, I want to jailbreak, but I need some way to explain to my father about all the apps I would get from jailbreaking (cydia, winterboard, etc.), and about the custom themes, without him knowing I jailbroke my phone to do so, and without him going and asking this moron he works with about it.

Ha, unless you can play it off as getting the apps from the appstore.....you sound pretty stuck.

Tell him this:

Yes it does void the warranty BUT all you have to do is restore the phone in itunes and the jailbreak will be gone...and Apple will never know.

Jailbreaking is easy to do and easy to fix. All you have to do is restore to put it back to the way it was. Yes it will void your warranty if you bring it to apple jailbroken but if you restore it before you do, they will never know. Personally jailbreaking is fun to do because there isnt any harm in doing it and it brings more life into the phone.

thanks guys. I really appreciate the feedback. I will just jailbreak, and if he notices the different apps/themes, i will just try to explain about restoring if there is a problem.
