AD2P help?

Just finished my jb/unlock on my 2g on 3.0. So far every thing seems fine. I was really excited about the 3.0 so I could listen to my phone using the bluetooth ad2p that was supposed to be in the new firmware. But I am unable to get the deck in my truck to work with it (JVC AVX-33)? My old nokia phone would transmit with no problem, I get/make calls fine, just no music. Any ideas/help?

I thought this was only for the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The iPhone 2G will not support MMS or AD2P.
