Well, it comes with great sadness that today I have discovered that the shuffle function is indeed fake. While changing my songs via remote on my iphone, I realized that the shuffle feature simply plays songs on an already randomly generated playlist. Theres nothing random or shuffled about the individual song that is played! The songs are playing in numerical, sequential order in this two-faced "shuffle" playlist. This, as a pose to being randomly selected each time I press next. How depressing. I thought I'd share this with you to prove that our apple products are no longer flawless.

And? You realise that having it work that way allows you to go back as well as forward in the "random playlist," right? What the hell difference does it make so long as the song choice is random?!

Shuffle is lame anyway. Listen to full albums or GTFO.

Shuffle isn't random. Shuffle does what it says - it shuffles the tracks and then plays them sequentially. Random, actually randomly picks a different song each time you hit previous or next.

There's a difference

in that case, definitely implement a random feature. Also, I do listen to full albums.
