Is there anyway that landscape mode in "messages" and "safari" app
can be locked in landscape mode?

one example -
sometimes when im sleeping, i get an sms, while im still lying down and
im trying to type,
the keyboard keeps moving from portrait to landscape, vice versa

I sometimes have this problem as well, I bael move and its at portrait again, very annoying

ok i feel you, ill tell you a secret man; whenever i really want certain things my phone to do, i wish and hope something gets put out through cydia. and im not kidding you i have had several things actually be there when i go to search.

I wish somebody brought this up to Apple before the 3.0...

This was one of the greatest features when the first Gen Model was released.. (imaho)

well this is an easy solution.
you do not have to lock it, the iphone will not rotate if the phone is upside down (unless your in photos) so put it in lanscape and hold it sideways to match your sleepin head
