I found this setting on my 3gs to enable batt %. Dont know if this has been found yet.

Yeah its been found....does yours actually enable and disable?? Because I cannot turn that feature off for some reason..

It's because you had the numeric battery on 2.2 before you upgraded to 3.0. I can't turn it off either. A little annoying, but it doesn't matter, because I wouldn't turn it off anyway. It's the whole reason I had the numeric battery on 2.2 in the first place.
