Default iPhone 3GS Battery % Toggle

I know there is an option to turn on/off the battery % on the statusbar, located; Settings-General-Usage...

But for some reason, I cannot turn it off at all... Is anyone else having this problem?

I've had no problem with that. My toggle has been working fine; able to turn it off or on at will. I'm not jailbroken.

That option comes standard on the 3GS, but for the 3G, or any other 3.0, you can enable/disable it with SBSettings

That's weird that Apple wouldn't want people on the 3G to have it. Seems like they need it most, to know when to charge. But whatever. I have it on my 3G and my 3G S, so it's all good. B^]

Well I fixed the problem... I think it had something to do with restoring it from a jailbroken backup.. Because when I did that i still had the custom carrier.. So I just had to factory restore and set it as a new phone, sucks but it worked..
