People call the first iPhone the iPhone 2G because of the network it uses, but it's really just iPhone.
iPhone -> iPhone 3G -> iPhone 3G SDoes this rag smell like chloroform to you?

But it's not called the 2G. People just say 2G to clear up any confusion. You won't see iPhone 2G on Apple's website, just like you won't see iTouch, so it's not the iPhone 2G.
All I said was people refer to it as the 2G, but its official name is just iPhone.Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?

^yes, which is what I was clearing up.
I said the people refer to the original iPhone as the 2G, but it's name is just iPhone. I answered both of his questions.
