I mean after you jailbreak your iphone 3g with a custom pwned ipsw, can you use the rebel sim to unlock it. As ultrsn0w has still not released. Has anyone tried to use rebel sim to unlock it

I have read threads where people have tried with not luck. UltraSnow should be released today, it is already complete just waiting for the dev team.

Rebel sim have said that firmware v74 which will unlock os 3.0 will not work on old hardware and a new sim is needed to be purchased. I have tried new firmware on hold hardware and doesn't work.

I am now one of those ppl who need ultrasn0w release ASAP to be able to use iphone again
