Is there an existing Icon/app organizer on te springboard?

I was just wondering guys if there is an application or add on out there to the springboard that lets you organize the icons?

What i mean is, i know there's categories app but i was looking for a more aesthetic organization like lets say having only 8 icons on page one, 4 on page two, ect..

I know you can do this by just dragging icons out of the page and shifting it to the next one. but it seems that the iphone auto arranges the icons from top to bottom and then left to right. What if lets say i just want the icons on the bottom os the screen, or just on the 4 corners of the screen or just on the right side.

The reason for this is to show the wallpaper on the back. Sometimes you want the top part of the wallpaper visible and some times the center.

Anyone have any ideas how to do this?
