Does N97 and IPHONE have the same touch screen?

Or is it like a "button" screen, where you press on the screen and it clicks...

On the IPHONE you just touch the screen and it works...

So is N97 same screen as IPHONE?

no they do not. nokia uses resistive screens like winmo phones do. its a sexy phone in my opinion and play through with it but i would not use it as a main phone, the touch is sub par and feels awkward to use. go xpressmusic 5800 if u want a touch screen nokia, runs smoother in my opinion

n97's touchscreen requires you to put pressure on the screen, thereby less responsive. Unlike the iphone's capacitative screen where a light touch does the job. And resistive touchscreens are made of plastic, so expect scratches on the screen, unlike the iphone's scratch resistant glass screen.

you´re nuts...the n97 is more powerfull than the 5800, and the screen is better quality, but inferior to iphone´s
