I'm buying the 32GB to put all my movies and shows on my phone, not because I care if other people think I spent an extra $100 on the phone.

Besides, that's what I have my "I didn't qualify for an upgrade with AT&T so I spent $500 on this thing!" with an arrow pointing down at the iPhone in my hands t-shirt. :P

Touché..... Man the white phones are clean, besides black is way to common with cell phones. And when I pull out my white iPhone all the ladies line up to see what's going on. shoot! Alright not really but I got a white car a white fiancé and a white ps3 if samsung made a white 52" LCD; well I would have that in white to, shoot!

I have a black 16gb 3g and my wife has the white one. Both of us chose the color we did because we liked it better. The Apple geeks never were a factor for us.

I got my 32GB 3GS in white because it's the sechs... I don't care who knows what my phone costs/has inside. Also, it seems like everyone has the black, or at least so back in the days of the 3G.

I got white because it just looks waayyyy better than the black (obviously my opinion).

And for whoever thinks the white color has anything to do with the cracks, thats amazingly funny. The fact is, the black just hides them....plain and simple.

PS- 3G bought day 2, 3GS bought day 3.........neither ever had/have issues with cracks or any sorts.

I have the white 3G ( and soon a white 3GS) because I like it better. My son has a black one. He liked that better.

I only got a few cracks after about 8 months after dropping it on ceramic tile from about 3 ft. up several times. Phone worked great until a month ago when I got a dark spot on the screen then 2 dead pixels. Exchanged last week under warranty

I'd rather have a new phone every few months if it cracks as opposed to having a color that's only going to hide hairline cracks until it's too late.

I got white because it is Mac. The first gen phone represented a powerbook in metal design and coloring. The last iphones have represented the spirit of apple with everything in white by apple standards. White is an apple thing.
