Slient Mode Switch ??

hey there,
when i flick the switch to slient mode then put my iphone in my pocket, sometimes it could flick itself from silent to general mode without me knowing, this is due to daily movements at school,so now that i am worried the phone might go off in class, unless i keep checking my iphone. Is there a way which i can
do which keeps the iphone in silent mode all day without worrying
that the phone might go off during class ?

thank you

You could turn it off or turn down the volume...
