Update for carrier settings in itunes

Hey guys i have 3g 8gb on 2.2.1 unlocked with gevey , every time i connect it to i tunes message pops up in itunes 'An update to the carrier settings for your iphone is available.Would you like to install now" i click update it updates it and gives me a mesage its been successfully updated.
But it does it every time i connect with i tunes .
Has anyone experienced this problem and do you have any sugestions how to fix it .
